Centrul de Calcul Info’98 SA was established on March 1st 1974 and it was a subordinated unit of the Jiu Valley Mining Company, the present Jiu Valley Energy Complex and it became a stand-alone company in 1998. In 2000 the company was privatized and it is now a joint-stock company.

The performances of the company have been recognized by our partners and so the company is Microsoft Partner Silver Application Development and ECDL Romania Testing Center. Since October 2001 Centrul de Calcul Info’98 SA is OSIM trademark number 48379.
Quality and information security management
At the beginning of 2002, Centrul de Calcul Info’98 SA developed and implemented a quality management system in conformity with the ISO 9001 standard the certification being provided by SRAC. The certificate has the number RO-1121.
In 2010 an information security management system in conformity with ISO 27001 was implemented and it was integrated with the quality management system.
At present the organization is certified only in conformity with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards.
The Quality Management System that is maintained and improved in Centrul de Calcul Info’98 SA aims not only for the organization to meet the requirements of the clients, to respect the legal and regulatory requirements but also to improve continuously the quality of the provided services and products, to maintain the reputation on the market and to be profitable.
The Information Security Management System that is maintained and improved in Centrul de Calcul Info’98 SA is now in conformity with ISO/IEC 27001:2013 based on the following principles that define the security of information: confidentiality, integrity and the availability of information. The organization aims to assure long-term security by means of politics, procedures and methods of security in order to protect the information of the organization and its resources.
Top management has the responsibility for understanding, implementing and the maintaining of the quality and of the information security management systems at all levels.
